Show Review from the Birmingham Owl:

Hayman and Franklin are a male and female Hebrew turn. John Kurkamp's act - as a conductor who is a vocalist as well - leads the orchestra as usual. But his body and features are outlined in the white light against a 'sea-shell background'. 'It is a daring piece of work which would scarcely be tolerated unless it were done as well as it is'.
