Show Review from the Birmingham Owl:

The convenience to the visitors in the stalls and circle is obvious with the improvements in the entrance to the Hippodrome. The seats are reached much more easily, and the exit is also easier'. Two ambitious amateurs stood up to Yukio Tani at the second house on Monday and one 'kept him at work for over three minutes, and the other was six minutes before succumbing'. The house was crowded and the 'drawback was that those in the front rows stood up, so the back rows shouted for them to sit down'. This happened too in Harry Edison's clever dog act.
