Show Review from the Birmingham Owl:

The Hippodrome audiences were not much diminished by the counter political attractions'. The House looked good with floral decorations in front of the orchestra and 'tastefully festooned' ice blocks. Lina Verdi is one of the best lady mimics, and her Vesta Tilley, Mark Sheridan, Vesta Victoria and Harry Lauder are excellently done, without make-up or change of dress. 'We shall miss the presence of the manager Mr. P. D. Elbourne next week, as he is to be married on Tuesday'.
