Show Review from the Birmingham Owl:

The great attraction, especially for the children, is Captain Woodward's performing seals and sea lions. The reviewer thinks they are much improved since he last saw them in 1894 at Bingley Hall. Johnny Danvers is the old nigger from the Agricultural Hall; and local man Leonard Russell 'is in fine voice'.
