Show Review from the Birmingham Owl:

"The Hermit" shows something like a Hagedorn's fairy grotto which forms the background for the show. The pantomime includes an escaped convict, a picnic party, warders from Winson Green prison and a general harlequinade. It gets roars of laughter especially when the Brothers squirt what looks like condensed milk into each others' faces.
