Show Review from the Birmingham Owl:

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lucas regard Birmingham as their home. They have previously performed at Temperance Halls, suburban institutes and other places favoured by amateurs. 'Mr. Barrasford has secured them for his tour, and they will be performing at the new Coliseum, London'. They can surely now be regarded as professionals - their Bill Sikes and Poor Jo impersonations are a success. 'Their Birmingham friends will watch their progress with interest'.
