Show Review from the Birmingham Owl:

Charles Bignell, a regular at the music-halls sang a song about John Bull and Tommy Atkins. The reviewer, and the audience felt that Mr. Bignell needed to change his repertoire. The Alary Trio played unusual musical instruments. Cline and Clarke - a white lady and a coloured youth - pleased the audience with their dancing.
