The programme is for Jack Taylor presents his revue ‘Un Vent de Folie’ containing scenes from the Paris Folies Bergere Revue of 1927-8. It has a white and blue cover with blue text, it is also white and blue inside. There are photographs on the inside and back cover showing scenes from the performance. The theatre slogan was ‘For good films, good music & comfort, visit a Gaumont British theatre’. The revue was performed twice nightly at 18:40 and 20:50. The production incorporated two revues from Paris. The huge sets were sent by a chartered steam boat. The 400 costumes were designed by Mr. Max Weldy of Paris. The theatre was run by Proprietors Variety Theatre (Birmingham Ltd) and theatre director George Black and Manager and Licensee Jas W. Kilgour.
