A four-page black and white programme, the Julian Braunsweg’s presentation of the ‘Festival Ballet’ starring Alicia Markova, Anton Dolin, Tatiana Riabouchinska, and John Gilpin. The ballets commenced on Monday 19 February and ran until Saturday 03 March 1951. The front cover has been bordered by a pair of red theatre curtains. The artistic director is Anton Dolin and the choreographer David Lichine. The inner two pages feature photographs and brief biographies of the stars. On the reverse is the repertoire for the ballet including ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Giselle’ and ‘The Dying Swan’ and a list of when these shows will be performed.
