A black, pink and white programme, The Peter Haddon Company presents ‘Arms and the Man’ by George Bernard Shaw. The front cover consists of black and pink sections. The pink sections contain white cartoons of various theatre related obejects and the black sections contain numerous small, pink stars. The title is in a white box towards the top of the cover with ‘Hippodrome Birmingham’ on a banner towards the bottom. Artists in order of appearance were Elizabeth Hart, Constance Fecher, Muriel Baker, John Bryans, Roger Hume, Norman Gay, Kenneth Warren and Peter Whitbread who also produced the play in three acts. The production commenced on Monday 29 August 1960 for one week.
