The white programme has red and black printing throughout with a black cover. The ‘V’ for Victory of the word ‘Variety’ doubles as the happy mouth on an illustrated face. Performances took place twice nightly at 18:15 and 20:30. The bill ran as: Overture with the Hippodrome Orchestra, Francois & Zandra (Novelty Dancers), Peggy Cavell (Drawing her own conclusions), Dru & Di Jon (Skatorial Grace), Tommy Locky (Unusual as Usual), Joan Regan (Decca Recording and TV Star), Intermission, Francois & Zandra, Kaye Sisters (Youth in Harmony), Eddie Rose & Marion (Juggling Novelty) and Max Bygraves with Bob ‘Poker-Face’ Dixon at the Piano.
