The programme has a red cover showing an external drawing of the theatre and cost one penny to buy. Internal pages show photographic views of theatre spaces. The theatre was managed by The New Birmingham Hippodrome, Ltd and the theatre manager Ben De Frece. The theatre slogan was ‘The most select variety entertainment in Birmingham’. Performances took place every evening at 18:50 and 21:00. The bill in order of appearance was Overture, May Baskerville (vocalist), Fred Karno’s Company, Russell Carr (ventriloquist), Jark Ark (Diabolo), Harry Russon (actor comedian), The Werner Amoros Troupe (pantomime sketch), Cartmell and Harris (singing and dancing duo), The Curtis Four, and Animated Pictures.
