The programme has a red cover showing an external drawing of the theatre and cost one penny to buy. Internal pages show photographic views of theatre spaces. The theatre was managed by The New Birmingham Hippodrome, Ltd and the theatre manager Ben De Frece. The theatre slogan was ‘The most select variety entertainment in Birmingham’. Performances took place every evening at 18:50 and 21:00. The bill in order of appearance was Overture, Edna Latone (male impersonator), Phil Bransby (comedian), J. Banister Howard’s Co. (in ‘The Belle of New York’), W. B. Raby (comedian), Walton and Lester (The World’s Worst Wizards), Frank L. Gregory & Troupe (jugglers), Three Spires, Tom Davies Trio (in ‘Motoring in Mid-Air’) and Animated Pictures.
