The programme has a red cover showing an external drawing of the theatre and cost one penny to buy. Internal pages show photographic views of theatre spaces. The theatre was managed by The New Birmingham Hippodrome, Ltd and the theatre manager Ben De Frece. The theatre slogan was ‘The most select variety entertainment in Birmingham’. Performances took place every evening at 18:50 and 21:00. The bill in order of appearance was Overture, Mart and Pep (balancers and tumblers), Fred Karno’s ‘Moses and Sons’, Merry and Glad (acrobatic parodists), James Loft (comedian), Fred Gray & Nellie Graham (in ‘The Musical Bell Boy’), La Freya (in artistic visions), Bissett and Scott (American novelty dancers), Arthur F. Ward (juggler and dancer) and Animated Pictures.
